Ingredients

1/2 cup margarine or butter
1 1/2 cups graham wafer crumbs
1 package (200 grams) flaked coconut
1 can sweetened condensed milk
1 package (350 gram) semi-sweet chocolate chips (approx. 2 cups)
1/2 cup creamy peanut butter

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees (325 degrees for glass dish).

  2. In 13" x 9" baking pan melt margarine in oven.

  3. Sprinkle crumbs evenly over margarine.

  4. Top evenly with coconut then sweetened condensed milk.

  5. Bake 25 minutes or until lightly browned.

  6. In small saucepan, over low-heat, melt chips with peanut butter.

  7. Spread evenly over hot coconut layer.

  8. Cool 30 minutes.

  9. Chill thoroughly.

  10. Cut into bars.

  11. Cover loosely and store at room temperature.
